I went with a used zx400-5 no substitute for horsepower plus I'm a tight b*****d and didn't want to spend new money. I have one setup on a 330b cat also. Tell Dale and Hayden to bring you up this way when you make it down. I'm a professional beer drinker with a logging habit we can go to the pub

The cab started life as an old Tmar kobelco cab, alot of fabrication to get it to this point but well worth it. It's a perfect setup now and the staircase is better than my 124

Yeah mate it is crazy times. I like to head to the States and bc a couple of times a year, never imagined that I wouldn't be able to jump on a plane and head up there. Dale and Hayden are good guys. They were a week out from finishing a winch assist for me when things shutdown.

We have been on lockdown since March 25th, it seems to be working to slow this virus. Lockdown includes logging in NZ. Pulp mills are still working and log ships are still loading but actual logging is not classed as essential here. So when we get back to it we should be pumping as the log...

Not sure if I added a photo of 12212 since we over hauled it? Brought this machine from Don Woodfin around march 2019 shipped it to NZ and put it to work late 2019 after we made some upgrades.

Yeah the I.log is a great upgrade all functions are quick as the original system and the options for changing settings like adjusting bias to suit deflection are all easy to alter from the in cab monitor. Highly recommended

The old 122 and 123 go good with the right upgrades. I like the new ones but we get wood with the earlier machines without the massive investment

    Directional Felling Grapple

I know of 2 909k deeres down here that run a heel/grapple combo but switch over to a directional felling head. I don't think balance will be to much of an issue there are plenty of 909m's running around down here with 624 and 625c waratahs without any balance problems so a heel with the right...
