    i was looking at ramps and talking to the company that made them and they said to use old rubber belt on the ramps when loading track equiment it will still let it bite but will not let the track grab the ramps and break them up might give it a shot

    you just be nice to the nice DOT man they can and will pick a truck apart and they enter it into a computer so once they nail you they all know about you in the state all it takes is to enter your plate number as your rolling onto the scale

    if your going to be doing it you might want to look at a boom truck and get a trailer to go with it cutting out the crane on both ends dealing with NJ Dot most states have blanket permits they are good for one year NJ does not route for oversize if you have questions on the route you want to...

    with the angle of the truck if the trailer was loaded a little heavey on one side it would let the 5th wheel plate tip forward dropping the left side of the frame and giving it more than enough movement to go over being inline it might not have happen but you never know
