    John Deere 1010 crawler parts?

The little 1010 has a multi disc steering clutch, known for sticking. The link for jd crawlers is a real good place to start. Lavoy is the guy that runs it, don't think you'll find anybody more knowledgeable on JD crawlers. You'll need a JD7 gage to adjust the clutches, Lavoy usually has them...

    955L questions before i buy

I cant remember where it was on my 955H but there were a bunch of coil springs ,like 15-20 ,that transmited power before the steering clutches .It's been like 25 years so I'm a foggy on details.

When my H did something similar to this ,I found at some point before me it had dropped a valve and damaged the piston. They had put on a new head but not a piston . Piston holed and sent a piece through the turbo taking it out too.

I too have a 955H series 60A with the same symptoms. I can't find the suction filter. My trans filter is forward of the right brake pedal above torque converter housing. Should suction filter be the same square housing as in the pictures? Or is it something else located else where? In the past I...

    955h ?

On my 955 I seem to have "lost" 2nd gear. When I'm in high range it almost never went in.Now its got to where it won't go in at all.I pulled the valve body and put in new O rings(yellow ones) no change.I think there is a lockout on the range transmission somewhere. Are there any old timers around...

    TD8E Input.

The can of starting fluid scares me.Try to go back when the engine is cold and see how it starts. It could be a sign of low compression,or as some on here have said the engine could have been "weaned" on fluid.Be careful they can be a money pit.Read the thread in the track loader section,"my...
