    The only thing I question is the tank on the drivers side infront of the door that isn't there on the kozy kleen truck......but its very possible someone did some upgrades other than just the cosmetics (stacks, chromed bumper, wheels, etc). Im inclined to agree it is the same truck.

    doesnt hurt to make a couple "A" shaped jigs out of thin plate to help line the barstock up with the original grousers for tacking either.

    You may save some money if you talk to montreal tractor north of the border. They are a large dealer of used parts in eastern Canada, and well, the dollar exchange is very favorable to you as well. just a thought! I don't think it would be a very long drive for you either.

    I want to say the d333 was 4.5" bore and the d333c/3306 was 4.75.

    One of the two has a keyed injection pump shaft and the other does not as well. I agree with kshansen that it was a mid step. I think it is closer to the 3306 than the D333 it replaced.

    cat 140g hydraulic issue.

    72v5046 3 functions on the right hand control bank stopped functioning simultaneously. Blade lift and wheel lean still function, which are side by side in the centre of the valve, while the circle shift, artic, and scarfier do not work at all. The operator mentioned he had moved the scarfier...

    In post 186, it almost looks like tracks going off the road from the front. I wonder if something happened that he took off backwards and put her over trying keep her on the road? but then I suppose the cab is pushed the wrong way. just thinking out loud. lol.

    Timing and minor pump tweaks will go a long way on a 4 or 6 bt, the rotary pumps can be tricky but the inline ones are very easy to tweak. Governor springs raise the upper rpm limit and helps wake them up as well for use in a vehicle. the rotary pump is more driveable I found though.
