753 G Bobcat starts and shuts of in cold weather.

You nailed it Willie59. We finally hit a cold snap over the weekend, and for three days I have not had the slightest problem. No Charge pressure light when it was cold, and the thing feels like a different machine. Thank you. Also, if you would be so...

753 G Bobcat starts and shuts of in cold weather.

I have a 753 G bobcat. I picked it up this summer, and it seems to have ran fine. Since it has gotten colder, (anything lower than 40 f) it has started to cut itself off after it is cranked. The charge pressure warning light comes on, and it throws error codes 05-14 and 05-15. (low charge...

    Older JD 450

I'am sorry, the way I wrote it is a little confusing. A better way to put it would be $800 a side, for a total of $1600. I am not sure if you could just replace one side or not, as I am far from a mechanic. The kit was for our loader, included clutches, brake bands, everything you needed to do...

    Older JD 450

My father just sold a 450 with bad clutches. He had adjusted it down over the years, but in the end it was doing the same thing you described. We priced out clutches at about 800 a set (2 sets). The mechanic we asked, a family friend, wanted 500 to replace ours, so I imagine it would be higher...

    953b value

Far from an expert here, but that looks alot like my 20z 953A. I noticed you posted about the exhaust being gone, just the elbow from the turbo to the muffler pipe for mine was almost $600, Couldn't find it aftermarket. We paid $15,000 for ours, with a near perfect undercarriage.

    Root rake on my 953

Picked up a used Solesbee’s rake designed for a quick attach loader. $1500. Had a millwright friend of mine cut off the quick attach, bore some bosses, cut some 1'' plate, and weld it all together. $1400. I ended up putting $2900 in a root rake that was quoted to me for $7400.

Hydraulic fluid pouring into crank case. 20Z 953A

After noticing filling my hydraulic fluid low for the second time in a couple hours, with nothing showing on the ground, I have discovered it has found a new home in my engine crank case. I am under the impression that the hydraulic pump is bad, and the fix is removal and rebuild of the pump. I...

Guy's help me pick out a good farm size track loader with 4-1 and teeth

I have a 953 A for use on the farm. It does the job perfectly. If you get into stumps, you will have to do some digging, but it will drop just about any tree you will encounter with ease, load it and stack it into a pile. Track loaders are not good in wet or soft ground.

Also, when I took the cap of of the hydraulic reservoir, it had an incredible amount of air pressure behind it.

    hydraulic pump.... Its gone....

Yes, the machine has been parked since the end of June. The fluid was the normal color, just that it was as thin as water, not that there was water in it.
