How to find Cat document PELJ2405?

I was in the Cat PSK book and it referenced this document number PELJ2405 that would list the widest shoes you could install on a D6T. Do you have to get into the SIS? Thanks James

    Linkbelt 240LX bottom rollers

I have roller part number KRA0781 for this machine. It has a bolt hole pattern of 318x110. I have an extensive list of roller bolt hole patterns and no roller with 318 has a 120 measurement. Have them measure the bolt hole pattern across the roller. Also have your customer call LB and ask for...

    Linkbelt 240LX undercarriage specs

I probably have what you need but won't be back to work until Wednesday but in the mean time if you have JD wear specs the 450DLC shows to have the same chain. The bottom rollers have a 180mm running surface and that is the same a the Deere 380. You should be able to use that wear chart for the...

Case 850 g track adjustor seal

The yoke and cylinder are one piece that is bolted to the idler blocks. The piston slides into the cylinder. The piston should pull right out of the cylinder. See if the below link will work for you. It shows an exploded view of the setup...

Need to pull Sprocket Hub off of old Dozer

Before you pull the sprocket measure the depth of the sprocket on the splined hub. You will need to press it back on that deep. Since you are pulling the sprocket you may consider putting new seal groups in. Inspect your old ones and see how worn they are.

Need to pull Sprocket Hub off of old Dozer

What tctractors says is good advice. You will need a set up that looks like this. Maybe see if you can find a large independent shop in your area that has been in business a long time they used to work on the bigger Cat dozers.

    Looking For Scrapped Hitachi EX50URG!

Well I am surprised as that number doesn't come up in our system. Did they give you the bolt hole pattern of the roller? If so post it and i'll see if I can match it up to something.

    D6K System One Undercarriage

The D6K2 has the option of System 1 or Heavy Duty. The HD undercarriage is the same that is on the D5H or D6N conventional undercarriage. From what I find the bolt hole pattern on the rollers is narrow on the D6K compared to the D6K2. I have the bolt hole pattern on the D6K from side to side is...

    D6K System One Undercarriage

Based on the info from Cat in Nige's post if your roller frame uses 8 rollers it can be converted. I'll have to look tomorrow when I get back to work for the document. When Cat came out with the D6K2 they must have realize what a screw up they made on the original D6K and changed the roller...

    Who builds the Case dozers?

I don't know who builds the machine but the undercarriage on your 2050M is mostly the same as on the John Deere 850K and the Cat D6R. I think the segments are Case only best I can tell.

Fits and Limits Chart for undercarriage:

Maybe this will help you. It's listed in millimeters which is the easiest way to measure undercarriage. Internal wear is done over 4 pitches. Idler is measured from top of center guide to running surface. HD11B PERCENT WORN NEW 25% 50% 75% 100% LINK 108 106.6 105...

    D3g RH final drive problem

If it only goes a foot forward and reverse then there is a possibility you may have broken a gear. You have three small planetary gears on the outside part of the final drive. If one of those broke it would probably limit travel as there isn't much room in there for the pieces to fall out of the...

    D3g RH final drive problem

I thought the D3 segment used a bolt and nut set up? Also I think they are 1/2 threads. The System One segments may be different but I'm at home now and don't have any books here.

    Brand New Cat Undercarriage Problems

The term General Duty Undercarriage was mentioned so I wanted to post some information I have from a Caterpillar brochure that explains it’s purpose. “Designed for use in low-to moderate-impact applications where the value of Cat Heavy Duty Undercarriage is not fully needed. Note: General Duty...

Cat d6c 10k final drive support seal

It's not fiber. It looks like a giant cam bearing if you know what one of those look like. 5M6637 is the correct part number. 4S6752 is the seal that goes in the housing with the bushing. That's probably where the spring came from as there is one in the seal.

    case 450 roller question

Those are not pressed on. When new they slide on and a snap ring is placed at the end of the shaft. Does your's have a snap ring. After 50 or so years the collar is usually stuck on. You should be able to take a hammer and tap (hit) on it until it comes loose. The correct way to take them off...

    955L repairs

Dave is wrong. The links on your chain have 3P1112 and 3P1113 correct? Those links are used on a D6C chain. The 6K910 is a D5 chain. Different pitches. The very high serial number 85J have the same undercarriage as the 13X models.
