Has anyone ever fabricated a blade to bolt on to a track loader?

That's what we do with our 3' mini ex bucket. Keep the blade on most of the time.

    Scan a 259D skid steer

Oops - trying to admin and watch the SEC BB tournament at the same time. o_O

    Scan a 259D skid steer

Welcome to the Forums Jmarc! I moved this thread over to the skid steer forum.

Peter informed me of the how shall I say "distaste" Kiwis had for Aussies. He passed away several years ago, I really miss him. As far as load restraints I would post it in the Equipment Moving Forum as it covers moving all sorts of stuff.

    Giving warranty on used equipment

No way. I've sold stuff as-is there it sits and have folks call back months later complaining something broke. Can't imagine what they would do if I gave them a warranty.

Pre DEF svl90 or DEF svl95

You are welcome. KSSS is the resident Case guy when it comes to SSL/CTL's so I would lean on his advice. I have never owned a Case machine. As far as DPF's go we haven't (knocks rapidly on dining room table) any problems with our 279D's that only have DPF's and no DEF.

Pre DEF svl90 or DEF svl95

Welcome to the Forums Wheel10! Glad to have you. As the others have said - a no DEF or emissions machine in good shape is the way to go. Problem is finding one in good shape.

Welcome to the Forums Always Learning! Glad to have you. Had a good friend in Costa Rica that was a Kiwi. He shipped in a leg of lamb for Christmas dinner that was without a doubt the best lamb I've had.

Bought a used 303.5 - Scammed or just Stupid? Or both?

Might have missed up thread but how many hours on the machine?

Has anyone ever fabricated a blade to bolt on to a track loader?

Takes some practice but you can do it with your loader and bucket. I've finished many a SF of building pad and graded a lot of road footage with our 953C. Actually a loader is handy if the road has a lot of potholes as you can use the teeth to scarify then re-grade and compact.

A few projects I have done recently

Received around 1" of rain this morning so we wrapped up the parking lot downtown with the bioswale.. As talked about up thread this is nothing like the design called for. The drain basins with the metal domes are supposed to be 6" above finished grade. The seal coat is not on the asphalt yet...

A few projects I have done recently

Too late. It's a tight turn out of there and the lowboy caught a tree limb giving a nice scratch down the side. Operator was 4 shades of pissed off. Tomorrow's a rain day so he's going to china freight to buy a buffer and some rubbing compound. It's not to bare metal so it might buff out.

    Selling equipment

I was going to suggest Iron Planet but the $$ amount is not enough to justify the hassle of listing, paperwork and fees charged. Speaking from experience or abundance of caution?

    Selling equipment

Scam. Cash only in person if it were me.

    Caterpillar 317

Not necessarily, depends on the region. Cat is very competitive in the Southeast. Couldn't agree more on the "respected" part.

    Caterpillar 317

Have no experience operating a 317 but I've owned a 315CL and 315DL which were both great machines. I am guessing the 317 took it's place? Hauled them regularly on our 25T+ trailer.

Pre-cast beam lands on Uhaul truck

Still surprised there is no signage from the 21st alley side.

It was more of a PBR type of crew. :D
