    Pedals or Levers

Pretty much pedal's only, if Im on a machine steady the lever's are history. Better vision when working with men in a ditch, I prefer to have all function's off the machine under constant control at all time's !!

    Tri Drive

Up here where I am , about 90% of the trucks are either tandem with 3 or 4 axle transfer's and have been for several yr's now. Tandem's with 2 and 3 axle pony's generally work the excavation end of thing's and the transfer's handle the majority of sand & gravel hauling as well as the paving end...

    Tri Drive

Running excavator on one particular job once with a couple of tri-drives and they were a problem to dump where the material was needed. They just need too much room to get around, and most attempt's to get there seems to result in getting stuck. Another issue is with longer boxes you need a lot...

Kamatsu PC 75 bucket hitting cab.

There is one thing I have always done, and that is when operating a new or strange machine was to run the unit through a complete range of movement's to see what if any problems with interference. Especially with none factory attachment's, hammer's, hoe-pack's, wing coversions and the likes...

video of cat 315 climbing steel scafaling

The actual task here is not that remarkable, what I find rather disturbing is that it would appear throughout this manouver the operator was not wearing his or her seat belt and the cab door open ???
