    Bushing repair or replace?

One could easily cut out the old and weld the new outside bushing but the inside bushing, I'm scratching my head. I can't see how I could get a cut off wheel and a mig gun to weld the new bushing.

    Bushing repair or replace?

The lift arm bushings where the cylinders attach have worn down to an egg shape on my S-175. I talked to a company that welds/line bors and they can't accommodate that size. So, looks like new bushings are the only option. How hard is it to replace these?

So, then what's the difference between a deluxe cab and a standard cab? Sorry, I don't know the difference.

    S-175 cab door switch

I recently purchase a used S-175 with low hours. The machine doesn't have a cab and I purchased a new glass door for the machine. I will fabricate some Makrolon/Polycarbonate panels for the sides of the cab. Does anyone have a wiring diagram where the door switch safety goes to?

    Excavator needed for rental

I had 12 trees removed from my property so I can build a garage. All oak, maple, & pine. I've removed 9 out of the 12 stumps with a bobcat 709 backhoe attachment & my 763 skid steer. The remaining 3 I know I won't be able to remove. One is a 36" diameter red oak. In addition, I figure an...

763 with high oil level... Fuel in oil?

Thanks for the replies. I took the lift pump off the machine and noticed a fuel smell in the camshaft hole. I brought it to a bobcat dealer and they hooked it to a vacuum pump before selling me a new one. Sure enough, it wouldn't hold a vacuum.

763 with high oil level... Fuel in oil?

I noticed the oil level in my 98 763 was quite high. I replaced the oil only to see the level raise again after 1 week. It also appears to be quite thin. I'm ruling out antifreeze as I did not see any speration in a clear jug. Where, besides the cylinder, can fuel contaminate the oil should I...

Bobcat 709 backhoe Boom repair or replace?

I called my dealer to price out a new one. $3600...! Looks like repairing it will certainly be cheaper.

Bobcat 709 backhoe Boom repair or replace?

I purchased a used bobcat backhoe attachment (709) that had two hairline cracks in the boom. They were on both sides of the mount where the arm cylinder attaches. To my stupidity, I neglected to repair and just recently, it reached its limit and is now out of commission. Should I have it...

    1998 763 not getting fuel

I stopped into the dealer this morning. The salesman at the parts department didn't have to look up the part numbers. He said it's a common problem and they deal with it at least once a month. $14 in parts total.

    1998 763 not getting fuel

While working at my house, my machine appeared to run out of fuel. The gauge read 1/2 a tank. I did the usual prime bulb but this time, I was pumping air. I traced the line to just under the hydraulic pump where it enters the top of the tank. I pulled it out of the tank and there appears to be a...

My 763 was used hard. Now it needs some help

Finally all assembled. New decals, rear lights, new in-cab insulation, new seat. I threw the in-transit plate on it and drove it home (only 1 mile from where I work). I still have to mount the seat bar, re-install the front lights and install the cheap stereo I picked up.:D
