    Fl14c

Hi DMiller, if memory serves the 14C is almost the exact machine as the 10C the only real difference being that 14 has a turbo. Last one I work on the hyd system was a couple of years ago. Parts had to be orderd as none were instock, but the salvage yards still had a few machines at that time. I...

    When i was a boy

I'm not sure about the year or model of the 1st white in that lineup but the 5th truck looks to be a White Mustang mid 50's. I have a 57 Mustang gas burner with 8 speed Road Ranger trans. I love that ole gas soaker.

    south carolina work ?

catd8t, sorry for the late reply but there is always some heavy equipment work going on in that area. And with the recent fires I'm sure that has boosted the need for operators and equipment alike. Don't think there will be much in the way of union jobs, although I could be wrong about that.

    The danger to others

Thats a sad thing, and a lot of laws help certain situations, we have a tarp law around these parts, but it wouldn't stop chunk of concrete that size from blasting out of the box.

11 year old boy operating a 80 longreach excavator video safely

The days of old have past, I've been operating wreckers from the age of 10. IS Waste motor oil ok for Cat D4H Dozer 1991

IMHO I think it'll be hard to start on cold mornings/days but should run fine once it warms up a little. I could be very wrong, and I'm really interested in what others have to say about this. And I'm sure you'll get lots of replys.

    410 JD Issue

It is a mess thats for sure, I'm not a 100% sure what failed first. Although I think the TOB went through the pressure plate and caused all of this. And yeah I would really like to see the pics of your repair when ya get time to post them.

    Master cylinder rebuild question?

http://img2.imageshack.us/my.php?image=mastercylindersideview.jpg Looking at this pic you can see the piston assy will have to be pushed out the threaded end. I would use a large phillips head screw driver placed in the actuator rod seat and gently push the piston out.

    410 JD Issue

As you can see its all apart in the 1st pic, the 2nd one shows all the springs,PP levers and an exploded throw out bearing layin in the housing. The 3rd shows the Pressure Plate missing all its hard ware. Now just what caused all this to happen :beatsme But I'll be looking for a cause before...

    410 JD Issue

Well the 310-A arrived early on Wensday, I tore into it today and located the problem. The TOB flew apart and tore all the fingers and springs out of the pressure plate assy. So the disc was not turning with the engine and niether was the main shaft, so the lift pump was not charging the main...

    410 JD Issue

Hey Awhelan, sorry for the delay in repling to your question. I did go by and check the 310 out shows the same symtoms as your 410. So unless I missed some thing I'll be pulling the engine to replace the inputshaft on this machine as you did on yours. Just waiting on the machine to make it to my...
