    How to dig straight trench with excavator?

    run a spray paint line where your trench needs to be.Set your machine level and place the bucket so its centre is equal.Then rotate the cab 180 degrees and and check with the line behind you adjust it with the tracks, once they are both the same dig away....but keep checking as you go...result...

    Another trench collapse

    In pic 2 why is he under the bucket?....then look at the the material excavated it looks to be less than a metre from the edge of the trench.Is that second machine there to batter the sides?

    Hi Mitch....First off welcome....Loading off the ground for you is the safest bet then do that...But if you can make a ramp into the stockpile and climb it that would be far easier for you to load from..Keep the stockpile wider than your machine and level, bring the trucks alonside and load over...

    Volvo Equipment

    Very nice excavators, iv'e run a few over the years and they have driver comfort in mind i had a nice 460 for a long time, really enjoyed it, a nice muck shift machine, steady and responsive, heated seat and radio i'm set.
