looking to get a new skid steer, considering cat and bobcat, need info

I have a bobcat s205 with the joystick control right now. It has been a good loader, but looking to get a new skid steer. I am considering a new bobcat with the joystick, or a cat 242b3. I know the bobcat equipment pretty good, but have had my share of problems with the SJC, is there anything...

Input on the new kubota svl compact track loader line up?

specs show the Tak to be far superior in lift capacity and breakout, that is why I think maybe something might have not been right with it. Everybody I have talked to said the Tak is a digging monster.

Input on the new kubota svl compact track loader line up?

I definately do see the resemblances to the Tak as well, but if you look at the cab design (ie. pedals, floor space etc.) it looks alot like the cat as well. Maybe they used the strengths of each and combined them into what hopefully will be a great machine. Everything else Kubota I have been...

Input on the new kubota svl compact track loader line up?

I didn't say my S205 would outdig it, I said the tl230 didn't do any better. I was digging in hard red dirt used the same bucket to run each loader running one then getting on the other, and I could not tell any difference in what the Tak would do. I almost wonder if something might not have...

Input on the new kubota svl compact track loader line up?

I have a buddy that is a dealer for Kubota and he is getting me the first 75 that he gets around the first week of June to try out. He said it was built from the ground up by Kubota, and that one of the key engineers used to design for Cat so there are alot of similarities to the Cat with...

    Best All Around Skid Steer

Yeah I am always a little nervous about being one of the first to test a machine, but given Kubotas reputation and the fact that I know this dealer will definately take care of me makes a big difference.

    Best All Around Skid Steer

Been looking into CTL's myself here lately. I was between the BC T190, Cat 257b2 and the Tak 130. I had pretty much eliminated the BC and leaning mostly to the Tak until today. I have a friend that runs a Kubota dealership. He showed me the brochure and specs on the Kubota SVL75. WOW!!! 75...

need info on a kubota mini-excavator

Yes, it has stick controls like a two stick backhoe. Joystick would be much better, but for the price I can deal. My biggest thing is wanting to make sure I can get parts for it if anything ever went wrong. Not sure if I could find parts easily or for a decent price.:beatsme

need info on a kubota mini-excavator

I found a Kubota mini-ex today. I think it is a KHO-40. Never heard of that size in a Kubota. It is an older machine but operated good and everything seemed good and tight. It has about a 14' reach from the hinge pin of the boom and about 16.5' from the center of the rotation. I would guess...

    1845c what things go bad

With the exception of the brake lock, probably the toughest skid steer ever built. Loud and bouncy, but will run forever.

    Comments on Kauffman trailers

I have had two kauffman equipment trailers and my only complaint is the cheap knotty wood for the flooring. I have had to replace most of the deck over the last two years due to boards breaking at the knots in the boards. Overall trailer quality is good and I have not had any other problems...
