BL, It sounds like it has a limiting relay valve, which would make it not want to stop without a trailer, and really not want to stop with a load in the bed. You can use that relay valve if you apply constant air pressure to the control port on top of the valve, or you can replace it with a... -

TH, You will need to install a 50 lb. gauge on the outlet of the turbo, not a 100% sure if there is a port on that machine somewhere between the turbo and the head there should be. Keep in mind you will see very little boost without working the machine, one more thing if your having power... -

Dump Truck Cummins NTC350 issues
The problem nowdays with the 855's is finding one better than what you got, alot of these have had serious block work done. Don't buy anything you can't hear run to operating temp, and check for mixing fluids, and combustion gas in the cooling system, unless they offer to pay labor to pull it again. -

T-bone, you need to have a liner puller or fab one, and a 3/4 torque wrench, I'd try Ebay for an old NT manual.The liners have shims under them, until you get it apart you really won't know what you have. Dump Truck Cummins NTC350 issues
You can use the 6inlb method on top stop injectors, don't know what year this is but it should be top stop. Dial wrench is the way to go. It sounds like you have a cylinder down on compression, probably bad ring/ liner. I think the tool Grandpa is talking about is a screwdriver type, they work... -

Derek, unplug the relay find the one that has voltage when the fan switch is in the high position, you should have 4 wires to the relay one is hot at all times this is supply voltage to your load, one that is the load (blower motor), one ground for relay coil, and one hot when in high position... -

Check voltage and ground to coil of relay, could be a low voltage condition, back probe the + pin of relay with relay energized to check for voltage drop.Just a tought but your tap could be enough to throw the contacts in the relay all the way together, with low voltage.. Good Luck -

Hard starting Cat 324 DL
Hawkeye, You need to get the scan tool on this the to check actuation pressure while cranking. It's going to be the easiest thing to do, they can look at what the sensor is reading with the engine off and while cranking. Actuation pressure sensors can cause issues with faulty readings, like...- k.key
