    Komatsu dozer troubles

Yeah John, the d37 -23 is a hydrostatic transmission machine, worked on a few of them, usually the pccs palm command control system leaver (steering) usually won't re-centre 100% and cause the little turn, can check positions of leaver in monitor to confirm it usually. I don't have much...

    D37ex-21A blowing smoke

I'd just do rings if that's all it needs honestly. If you wanna be sure it's rings before fully jumping in pull the head , I think you can do it without removing the nose cone but may as well as it's stuff all to remove. Film the cylinders with diesel and see how quick they leak down, if one or...

    For you Komatsu loader gurus.....

Ahhh check the plug for the injector isn't damaged or loose, check the nuts on the injector aren't loose for the harness Check the injector resistance should be like around .6.8ohms or something I'd be leaning towards nuts or harness myself. Those connectors get damaged alot too I've seen...

    Komatsu dozer troubles

Had issues with joy stick blade on the dozers getting a bit of slope causing them to do what they want and the steering ones with the springs not causing it to centre back to do things like that, more trouble than worth trying to repair them and usually doesn't work anyway.

    D37ex-21A blowing smoke

Common enough for these things to crack rings, there's an updated part number, pull the nose cone and disconnect the trays and sling it through the cab floor with a bar through it to hold it up. Pull the engine and head and sump and pull the pistons and fit new rings, maybe hone it if it needs...

    PC 130-6 FINAL DRIVE

Hey mate some of those hydash ones do have timing marks, if you pull the cover look for them on the gears, I think generally they all pointed to 12 o'clock , would need to confirm but

    Pc360lc-10 final drive slop

Doesn't appear to be much movement in the final drive, looks more chain to me, looks a bit loose too, should be 10-30mm of deflection from the front idler to first carrier roller. How tight are those cover bolts too by the way, as they retain the ring gear

    Komatsu pc75uu-3

Check ppc pressure to the spool for boom up/down, ift here is pressure at spool, spool may be jammed. And do a cylinder bypass test

Komatsu pw98 hydraulic pump under load

And check if ls bypass orifice is blocked etc
  10. I

Komatsu pw98 hydraulic pump under load

I'd be checking for ls pressure to the pump as this will cause the pump to stroke up loading the engine up causing stall, la standing for load sensing as this is a clss system. Other option would be check the PC (power constant) epc to ensure that is functioning as that should prevent the pump...

    KVGT issue

Ive diagnosed a few of these, as others have said check screens which you've done, oil pressure, once again done, my other propersition would be check epc command current and kvgt position sensor and see if they are working in correlation. Which if they have changed the kvgt assembly already...
