    Bobcat wheels

Does anybody know of a source for wheels for Bobcat skids other than the dealer? My dealer wants $250.00 a wheel and I'm thinking there's gotta be someone selling these cheaper. Thanks.

    Bobcat seat bar relay

Man, you sure are blowing the dust off this thread, lol. I have no idea where the short was. If they did tell me, I've forgotten it by now. I wish I could help. Next time I'm at the dealer I could ask the shop manager if he remembers.

How big of a role is your mini x?

I built my business with minis. I was so busy the first year I bought a second the year after. They are busier than the skidsteers we have although they are paired up quite frequently. Like was mentioned before, hydraulic thumbs and boom swing make these a versatile machine. We do garage slab...

    Free Fluid Film Samples

I'm in Canada so I guess I'm outta luck. (where's the Canada flag smilie?). Doesn't really matter, we use the stuff all the time. When we get a new skid or mini ex the first thing we do is open the engine covers and give everything a good dose of Fluid Film. We have salters mounted to the back...

what are your hobbies away from the dirt

I rarely have time to do anything anymore. Sound familiar? Throughout the summer I'm a crew chief for a friends late model in the Carquest Tour which visits the maritime provinces. Keeps a guy sane I guess. That's me on the left.

    How much can it lift?

Thanks for the replies. I understand what some of you mean by not knowing the weight of each boulder and it varies ie: over the side, I was just looking at getting a rough idea of what'll do. I don't see us picking these up but more rolling them into place.

    How much can it lift?

Hey guys. I'm going to be renting a Cat 315L from the Cat Rental Store for a job we have. How much weight can this lift at let's say max reach? We have to move some pretty big boulders and I think we can roll them, not too sure about lifting them though. Can't find any info on Cat's website. Thanks.

    My tires are backward

I had a friend get a rear flat on a 3 wheeler. After he got the tire fixed we noticed it was facing the wrong way. He sold it soon after that anyway and told buyers he did that incase he got stuck he could always back out of it. :wink2

    Bobcat excavators

I have 2 430's. My first has 1400 hrs on it. My second, 300 hrs. I've had no major problems with either one. We've broken the bucket pin a few times due to the grease hole they drill in the middle of it, the factory forgot an o-ring in one of the valve banks in the new one, boom hose sprung a...

    Cordless grease guns

I bought the 12 volt 2 years ago. So far so good. We have 3 machines and the batteries have held up well. We get about 3 tubes to a battery just like the sales guy said we would. If this ever dies maybe we'll get the 14.4. If I rush out and buy it now, the next day the 18 volt will come out and...

    Open or closed

I run with the window open. I hate the glare I get on the window even if it's clean. I find I can see better with it open for this reason. It only gets closed if it's really cold or really wet. We only run minis and therefore can move the boom sideways. I always have to open the right side...

    Broken track

I should have elaborated more. This design has the track and chain as a one piece unit. Each track piece bolts onto the next one forming a "chain" for the sproket to grab hold. The shoes are 1 foot wide.
