    CAT 305.5e2 Opinions

Hi DGODGR, I am in Australia but went through the same exercise as you about 2 years ago, I had previously owned a Takeuchi-TB-138fr (3.8t), then a Hitachi ZX-35 (3.8t), then a Bobcat E-35 (3.8t) and my last purchase and current machine is a Kubota U55-4 (5.5t), you have clearly done some good...

    Pics of your mini!

Hi Graham, the Tilt Hitch is a (Miller Power Latch Tilt), made in the UK. The window tint is pretty much standard here in Australia on a cab machine, the sun is pretty strong and it helps the A/con slightly.

    New Bobcat E-35 (R model)

Hi there guys, just wondered if anyone has the new E35 Bobcat (R model) and that had the previous model as a comparison yet? In Australia the new "R" model has only just arrived (last week), not officially released yet but my local dealer showed me one hidden away, unfortunately in their wisdom...

John Deere 35C--cab gets too hot

Hi guys, this is pretty normal for that size digger, I have had a new Takeuchi Tb138fr with factory air (absolutely useless) in summer months here in Australia,I was seeing over 30 deg C in cab with the air running, my next machine was a new Hitachi ZX 38 which was only bearable with air on and...

    Non starting issue Takecuhi TB153FR

Hi there from OZ, I to had the same problem with my (2012 TB 138fr) Taky and I ended replacing the ignition switch from memory, we also ran a second start/switch wire from the solenoid and put a start button on it in case the same thing happened again.

    Takeuchi TB016 swing play problem

Hi there ictrans, I live in Brisbane and have been running 3.5t excavators for a number of years and after watching your video I would say you have a fair bit of wear between the slew motor "pinion gear" and the "slew ring gear", probably normal given the hours and age of your Tacky. I...

E35i - grease for Swing Pinion & Circle (ring gear) ???

I use a Mobil (Mining Spec Grease) 3% Moly Disulphide in all grease nipples on my E35, have used this from Day-1 and the machine is just over 2yrs old now, I pulled some pins just to see what the wear situation was and much to my surprise the cad/zinc coating that is on Bobcat pins was still...

Remove teeth on E35 for farm work?

Hi there Clguest, I have a 2014 E35 (Long Arm) here in OZ, I run 4ton buckets on my digger, I have 8",12",14",18",24",(48"batter/mud) buckets & ripper, all my buckets run CAT style teeth and on my 24" I have a "pin blade" which was made by cutting of 5 teeth right back nearly to the adaptors...

    BOBCAT E35 Replacement Rotary Joint

Hi lantraxco, from memory the top rotating section of the joint is all flex style rubber connections, the base section which has legs/base formed on to the sides where it bolts down has all flex hoses for except one I think. As I said in my previous post, I am not entirely sure of what my dealer...

    BOBCAT E35 Replacement Rotary Joint

Hi there guys, I have put a previous post up here before regarding the "failure" of my rotary joint on my 2014 E35 twice in 880hrs, my dealer has repaired it again (new seals) I believe under warranty once again, I wont get into the details of what led to Bobcats change of heart to do the repair...

Looking for a brand new mini

Ha mate, it was a 2014 U35 and when you rotated in a anti-clockwise direction with the cab facing to about 10 or 11 o'clock there was bodywork hanging over the L/hand side track. Don't get me wrong I think Kubota are a great machine, everybody I know that has them gets huge hours without many...

    Bobcat Excavator Parts Quality

Hi Melli, no its not that bad to get too, pull the rubber mat out, undo 5 bolts and lift the floor pan out and you can see it sitting down there, you pull the belly plate off and its also visible from there as well. Yes one would wonder if the dealer has even investigated why it failed the last...

    Bobcat Excavator Parts Quality

Hi MX45, yeah I guess you'd call it a win, still concerned about the rotary joints life span in the future, especially after what murphy777 said he has been told. I was under the impression these lasted pretty well, my mates KX121 Kubota did 7000hrs and it had only just started weeping, I put...

    Bobcat Excavator Parts Quality

Hi MX45, I actually contacted "fair trading" here in QLD after your post and they pretty much said I would have a case to argue regarding this 6 mth warranty rubbish given the dealer fitted the part which was a "genuine part" and the machine is still under the 3yr warranty, and also touched on...

    Bobcat Excavator Parts Quality

Hi, I own and operate a 2014 Bobcat E35 which was purchased new mid 2014, it had been fairly trouble free up until 8 months ago when the rotary/swivel joint started to leak, told the service tech who was at my home performing a service (this is a requirement here in Australia to get a 3 yr...

Kubota KX41-2 slew ring grease points

Hi Gordy They should be on the front metal panel to ( left or right ) of the King-post ( where your boom swivels), normally there would be two grease nipples facing forward in that area of body paneling, this is where they are located on most machines to my knowledge.

Help please Deere 35d vs bobcat e32 vs cat 303

Unfortunately I have had the opposite experience with Hitachi (ZX35)/2013 model, 3.8ton, at 13 months old with 860hrs on the meter it was showing signs of slew/swing bearing wear (greased as per manual) and my dealer didn't want to know about it, have since found out they were monitoring a few...
