Went out with ut, today, fell into a trap of my own making... Track pulled off, I opened the window to get a look, jam nut had backed off. I had just made a rig to hold the 2 track wrenches, the 1-1/4 jam nut wrench, and the 16 mm bolt gearwrench. Thought it would be a cinch to loosen the...

Anyone been a victim of an equipment scam?

Its a big forum, here, ask someone in the area in question, to volunteer to verify that the equip is at the address in the ad. Several years ago, I volunteered to do this on another forum, the location was like 6 miles from me, and at my convenience, I dropped by, talked to the seller, then...

Had it out in the snow, today. Hadda move it anyway, to get the ASV out to do the drive. Slicker than snot on a doorknob, once you figger out the wacky controls. Used it mainly to clear the sidewalk down to the chicken coop and the parking area next to the house, its just skinny enough to plow...

    Looking for bolt on teeth...

Looking for 5 bolt on teeth for an oddball little bucket, the cutting edge is 5/8 thick. I know bobcat makes a bolt on tooth that I can make fit, was just wondering if anyone has a source, catalog or site that can beat the $18.50ish price I have been seeing. Don't care about brand, just price...

For what its worth, I got it untarped, started it (hadda dump a shot of gas down the carb), pulled it off a the trailer, and commenced to playing with it. Took a scoop of sawdust up to the compost pile, then grabbed a shovel, and went down to the y in the road, where the asphalt is thin, to...

I didn't notice. I was there for the one Item, I knew it was a chinese loader. I wanted something small enough to fit on my small trailer, but can't afford 15 to 30K for an American unit. Auction was in a 50 x 50 room, and there were 8-9 actual physical bidders, and all of the internet bidding...

    Chinese stand on mini loaders...

From what I hear, at least on the 36" model, with the high drive tracks, the rear most idler on the UC has had some bearing issues, but it appears that newer models have gone from a rubber(plastic) seal to a metal one. Also appears that there has been a different shield added to keep rocks away...

    Question for the machinists here...

Here's the dope from the factory. The Mercury has been discontinued, all the newer ones are DRO, if I remember right. And they have an easier to adjust belt and a 3/4 HP VS motor. As long as this hundred dollar wonder runs, I don't GAS whether it has alla the bells and whistles! Click on the...
