A few projects I have done recently

Is that a Husqvarna concrete saw in one of the previous pictures? How do you like it? I don't need a saw all that often but occasionally need to cut some asphalt or concrete and it would be nice not to have to rent, so I'm thinking about picking up a used one.

No pics with the new CMP bucket on, but it's working out well so far, even though I'm just using tilt and not rotate yet. Still waiting on a Rexroth dealer to tell me if I can add a section to the valve block, or if I need to use a diverter for the second auxiliary circuit.

On a job this week, I used all the attachments I have for this machine except for the ripper. It was a simple 150' power service trench from pole to garage, with the only obstacle being a section of concrete sidewalk in the way (or so I thought). The surprise ended up being an unmarked water...

    Work boots

I signed up for their wear test. I wasn't chosen for it (probably need a YouTube channel to qualify), but they sent a discount code which brings the boots down to an almost affordable price.

Original: After modification: I think I'll be happy with it like this. I couldn't take any more out even if I wanted to because it would interfere with the bolt heads: Anyone need any 1-1/2" wide doorstops?

Even after taking 4" worth of wedges out of the back edge, the base plate was still contacting the arm when fully curled in. So I had to take 1" out of the base plate. Paint job deja Vu:

    Pond overflow options

Thanks for all the input. The customer ordered a gasketed concrete elbow and pipe. 10" I think. I'll find out for sure when things dry out enough for me to go back and do the work.

Not always! Thanks for the sharp eye. It's easy to overlook things on my own machines sometimes, and getting and giving input and ideas to each other is what this forum is all about.

That's a good idea CO, that I would normally use, but in this case I wanted to be able to put the bucket on to see exactly how far it improved the angles. This afternoon's progress: Original CMP design: 3" subtracted from the back end of the ears: I can't decide if I want to take out...

Forgot to post, I also installed the wiring harness upgrade kit yesterday. Won't know if it completely solved the problem until it gets cold again. But at least I know there's no voltage loss from the power block on the engine to the relay board in the cab. Also this foolish battery temp...

    Damn you, Milwaukee

So I plugged my charger in one last time before sending it back and guess what? It decided to work again! I really don't know why it would do that but I guess I'll hold off sending it back for now. I tried it in several different outlets with multiple batteries yesterday with no success and then...
