I hope these pics come through good. I don't consider any of them to really good pics of the project but you can see my new toy.

I would say from the pictures that you probably have a crankshaft bearing failure.
There is only one way to tell. The engine needs to come out and apart.
That's a lot of metal in the filters. I just hope the damage isn't too bad and the crank and block can be saved. Myself I'd do some investigating to find out if the torque is the same as in the Model E machines, and swap that case 504 out for a 5.9 cummins that you can get parts for today and into the near future.

Are you planning on pulling the torque and engine together?
Unless a s185 has far more lift capacity than I'm thinking they do, I myself would opt for a different plan, especially if your alone.
