Readying for the KW

Got air drier swapped Thursday, charged both tanks as expected but the compressor unloader seals decided to leakby, and backflow to drier thru the D2, unhooked and blocked at compressor was fine as to drier set point. Cat/Bendix one cylinder, will order kit for it.

One more heat shield then back to fuel tanks, if gets too smoking hot again will fall back to electrical diagnosis.

All my needed supplies have arrived for now.

And then to make matter ever more better, got a series of small but audible air leaks fixed, found source of loss of warnings was corrosion at fuses where a little CRC cleaner does wonders. Then aired up to search more leakage and crap hit the fan, compressor head to body leaking.
Bendix one lunger.

Will have to do some deep searching on this.

Engine was noted as gone nuclear hot, compressor is above the head gasket line and would have coolant starved too. May wait until after first start, may have to.

Eng harness repair to the temp switch side and misc damaged connectors replaced is now hanging
Not connected to ecm nor primary timing sensor as will need one or the other loose for Timing Calibration with a ET device that JY said would help with when get ready to start this puppy.
Still working on intake tubing and fuel tanks for now.
End of new harness is where temp sensor is buried. Have a number of zip ties to add but plenty warm here and giving up for today.

This one is a Bendix, BA921. Will check with MHC KW Monday, Wheeler Fleet has reman exch free shipping for $483.xx. So far MHC has been proud of KW Parts but beat the crap out of everyone else on CAT and aftermarket.

Option, VanderHaags has a used for $250 and a reman for $404.xx Uncertain if shipping included.

Today was a SMOKER, humidity went to the moon as T-storms N and S of us with us in a humid center trough. Did get the tanks further, starting to show Shine again, will be scarred up but will be shiny, this is L side. Have to work Outside, keep the mess down for one and no room the other. As well NO Shade. Will be building a X frame like a crossbuck for the final work stand.

Been thunderstormy on and off here. Been watching some of the storm stuff from louisiana. They're getting hit with wind and rain pretty good.

Going to see the big train? My wife met the daughter in st. louis today to see it on display.

Am hoping to at least get referral to a specialist to get some sort of look inside on shoulder. Is getting really bad where side pressure shifting is seriously painful.

Rotator cuff? I had my second surgery for that on June 1st. First time was 10 years before. This time the healing and PT seems to be taking a lot longer. Could be something to due with being 71 years old and not being as active the last couple years.

Thanks, as a safe bet took the trailer load of scraps from the KW to the salvage yard this morning, $200t for Tins, copper and aluminum by the pound, $269 worth, that and got use of my trailer back.

On a sad note the yard owner was lamenting his driver retired last week, one to two loads a day are not leaving, uncertain how will get the now filling yard of scrap hauled away.

That’s how my last job went: Went in looking for part-time and only day each week I wasn’t driving was the day I helped wife w grandkids.

Barb the NP is going to start with X-ray then get a MRI, pretty certain have a spur chewing on Rot. Cuff.

Well hope it's something simple but as you are still more active than I have been the last couple years the healing if you need surgery should go a bit faster than mine has been.

Even with the time I've been needing PT I always get a kick when they do things like some of the range of motion measurements like to day. One was where they told me to raise my arm straight out to the side and up as far as I can. When I hit my head on the side and had to tilt it out of the way the PT lady just laughed, don't need to measure that. They also have cut out a few exercises because I was doing so good. But there are still some that are giving me some trouble but each week seem to be improving!
