I don't know if this has been discussed but what are the major performance differences between a vertical and radial lift. I have a TR 340 in the shop now for a DEF sensor. It's a machine that isn't worked hard mainly running at idle running a post pounder. I'm looking at the TV 370B because it is the comparable size but with the vertical lift and 75hp so no DEF. My machine sits most winter unless there is no rain. As far a pushing dirt and an all around attachment machine, are there weak points in all the components that make it vertical lift. The radial seems real simple on how they operate. My machine has 230 hours in 2.5 years so I can see the DEF starting to be problem. Offer on the table for 36k now but feel it's worth more. All the bells and whistles except for enhanced high flow and it's mechanical hand controls.

The radial machines are simpler with fewer grease zerks, clearer sight lines when your in the machine. The 340 machine would probably liked to be worked harder, but I don't know that a single sensor going out is cause for alarm. The vertical lift would give you a bit more lift capacity, but you probably don't have an issue with that I am guessing. Especially for what your doing, the vertical lift isn't going to cause you any problems. Are you sure you want mech. controls? Is the new machine a B series? As far as trade value, a machine with that few of hours should be around 40K to you in my view.

The new machine is a B series and I ran one this morning and there is a huge difference between the EH controls now and the old ones. I'm just not a fan of electrical controls and if they still offer mechanical I usually go that route. I think the offer probably around trade value but selling outright I was going to try to get mid 50's. I probably keep it and try and run it harder. Just keep using warranty work as long as I can.
