okay this is my first ever custom model (kinda:D) its nothing compared to some other ones on here ive seen. but its mine so i think its cool:D
i also modified my service truck and a flatbed i got to haul my attatchments ( sort of like hoemans sweet black one) :notworthy

To solve your length problem...

Can you get a trailer to trail the lowboy, rest the boom on that trailer and just get more flashing lights? Or does reality restrict us there?

thanks its not as good as some of your models.:p its also about 4 inches longer than my lowboy so i have no way to legally transport it :D

I thought you said the DOT didn't exist on your setup! :p

Nice is all what i can say. Keep it up, and one of these days you might work for them! Model builders I mean. Maybe the real deal, but, we'll have to wait and see!

That looks really nice. Can you make a little plastic bucket to go over the stack on the loader though? You got the exhaust facing right into the wind.

It was only a short time ago that I learned the reason for that.
In my ignorance I thought it was to stop water getting into the exhaust increasing the rusting. :Banghead

Luckily none for me personally. ;) It was while discussing the delivery of some new dozers that had arrived on a previous job that somebody commented on the heavy rain that the low loader driver must have been expecting ( bucket over the stack ) and the rep said that following a couple of early turbo failures on some machines it was now a requirement on all deliveries.
