Got a customer with a D5g serial # mhk09814, don’t know much history on it.
Several months back he was clearing a small patch of timber for a house pad and it died and wouldn’t start. I changed fuel filter, blew out fuel lines, blew out return line, and it fired right up and ran great.
It’s done that 3 times since then, just dies. Sometimes it cranks right back up, but will only idle or is real sluggish. Fuel filter always seems to get it going. So last time it happened, I drained the tank, cleaned it out good, blew all the lines clear again, new filter etc.
Now he’s working about 4 hrs away snd it’s done it again. Does anyone know what the fuel pressure should be? It’s got the little electric pump, and I’m leaning towards that pump being the problem. Has anyone had similar problems with there pump? I tried to find the specs on fuel pressure in my manual, but couldn’t find it. My manual is showing the nippendenso injection style fuel system, but this tractor has tge round distribution type injection pump.
thanks
