Looking at a new tractor.
Will be mainly used fencing with a post driver on the back.
Need 4wd, open ROPS and a FEL capable of lifting 1000kg pallets of cattle lick.
Can live with synchro shuttle, don't need power shuttle.
Looked at all the big brands, either 10-20k more expensive or have tier 4 engines (dpf, etc), or both.
Narrowed it down to a Massey 4707 and a Kioti 9520.
Massey is made in China, Kioti made in Korea.
Both similar in that both are tier2 engines, cable clutch with synchro shuttle, no real electronics to speak off, etc, etc.
Just basic old school machines.
Kioti is 10k dearer, but 20hp more with a lager physical size.
TBH a bit concerned about the build quality of both, Massey is a more recognised brand but made in China, and Kioti is probably a bit off being a "major" brand.
Anyone have any current experience with either manufacturer?
