I just bought a jlg 40e, is there a Main fuse or breaker? Here is some back story of what happened. while I was looking at the lift I tested everything out and it worked well. I loaded it on my trailer and as I was leaving I saw smoke coming from the lift. I went back and saw the alarm or “beeper” wires were smoking and the casing was melting off the ground wire. I unplugged the alarm and it stopped smoking. The key was off and out of the machine at the time. I now removed both wires from the ground control panel and when I turn the key on nothing works. No lights no hour meter nothing. Is there a breaker or main fuse? Or am I looking at bigger issues?
