Had one near as short, Torsion rear ride, Rockwell Center Point NON Power Steering axle. 8V92 Pig and finance slayer. K100C, 10 years older and just as block headed.
I drove a 92 K100 very similar to this one across the country on my one bedbugging adventure.

A wheat field Mouse House-it wasn't too bad on the outside but to remove the stink inside that would require fire. Although someone did buy it-I doubt they
could get the stink out. In some areas mouse crap was a 1/2" deep.

I don't ever recall pulling a front wheel and drum as a unit! I mean it makes perfect sense if that's all you're going to do but I always got it as light as possible before I messed with the bearing.
