L218 New Holland not cranking

I will preface this thread with the fact that I am new to skid loaders and this forum.
I bought an 2011 L218 on an auction and we cannot get it crank from the key. We jumped the starter and it will fire off ether, but will only get fuel up to the injector pump if the fuel pump is jumped, as well. Where I am currently:
1. Key powers orange wires in the switch at 13V, powers a white wire at 6V
2. Getting 4 volts at the fuel pump
3. All fuses and relays in the cab are tested
4. When I sit in the seat the instrument cluster lights
5. The set belt light goes off when buckled
6. I have a warning and a case 1305? JOYNU
7. There is an orange and a white wire from the RH joystick index finger button that doesn't appear to anywhere. I may be missing and entire wiring Harness to to tie into the main, idk.
Any ideas or troubleshooting steps would be appreciated.

Whats the serial number? Does this machine have a large main fuse back by the battery that supplies controller? Are you sure on the 1305 code I dont see that code on any case or new holland list. Sounds like you may have a bad wire going to ecu maybe in a harness plug or plug at ecu. Some of these machines have fuses on ground circuits and also diodes in the fuse box. You could also have a bad ground. I would clean all the grounds first and check power at ecu. I sent you a pm but need a serial number to better assist.

I had a similar issue on my case sr200. Ended up being a bad wire connection in the loom just behind the seat. They crimped 3 wires on to one with out a mechanical connection. The wire sent 12v power to the switch. Jiggle the lolm and see if it makes a connection. Thats how I located my problem.

JoyNu is joysticks are not in neutral. This is not the reason it wont start, but wont move once it does start with that on. The 2011 and 2012 machines had routing issues in the control handles, the wires would chaff and short out.

That's good to know it isn't the reason it doesn't start. Talking to the dealer, he said get your errors fixed first, so that's where we started. There an orange and a white wire on the trigger button that looks like it was smashed, but we can't find where those go. It appears part of the Harness is gone.

We are slowly going through and disconnecting and reconnecting the connections. We will have to cleanup all the grounds. It was a hay mover, so the whole bottom is full of wet hay and straw, aka manure.

I had to buy a handle for a 2012 it was $700 if I remember correctly. If it helps justify the cost, I never had an issue after that.

Does anyone know how the fuel injection pump works on here? Is it mechanical? There is a single white wire showing 4 volts going to what I think is the fuel shut off. I ma not sure if that is the correct voltage but putting 12v to it is not good

You should be able to hear the lift pump running when the key switch is turned on. Does the display light up when you turn the key to run position?

Service manual has testing info for testing fuel shutoff. Until you clean all the grounds and major power conections on the entire machine your chasing your tail

Display lights up when rhe seat Switch is made. When the key is turned on we get 13v on the ² orange wires and 6v on the white wire.

I am not seeing this in the service manual. Can you paste what you are seeing in here? I would like to know the correct voltage on the white wire going to the fuel shut off and how to test it.

Have you went though the test procedures on page 1057 to confirm starting circuits are good along with ignition switch?. New machines wont always start by jumping starter because the ecu doesnt know it's in start mode and wont act accordingly. I had a machine that wouldnt rev because it thought it was still trying to start even though it was running at 800 rpms

I forgot to close this out. I found some fuses blown on the wiring harness that runs on the left side of the Engine. Fired right up.
