John Deere 850j track tensioner

We have an 850J that the track tension cylinder has rolled over on and cant access the grease fittings. What causes this and what has to be done to fix it?

Looks like the tensioner cylinder goes thru and cages the recoil spring it dont show anything to keep it from spinning have to pull covers off and try to spin it back maybe weld a arm to keep it from rotating

I wonder if the number 6 bushing maybe has notches in it to index something in the track frame.

No need for retention, nothing in the world will ever cause it to turn... except a broken spring, and then you gotta go in after it anyway. That's my guess, YMMV.
