How are the parts of avaliability for a 2002 cat 305 got one found with low hours but a couple problems. Is a 2002 old enough that it will be hard to get parts

Shouldn't be. Parts are available OEM & aftermarket for Cat excavators manufactured in the 1980s. For a machine of that age parts availability shouldn't be an issue. You might draw breath at some of Cat's parts pricing though.

Best brand to get parts for imo volvo john deere case komatsu will tell me annually 2000 machines parts are discontinued call cat for d8h parts and have them following day....

I think that you will be able to find them. Just the question is if they will be available locally or will you need to order them.

ended up buying a 2016 bobcat e 50 already regret it cant make it run should have bought the old reliable cat.
When you can't make a four year old machine go, there's something wrong with this industry. But then we knew that.

looks like i paid twice the money and got half the machine
