Very lucky the stupid only hurt him. I suppose all in the effort to avoid having a CDL?

He has a semi tractor and had a single drop trailer with ramps. I'm guessing = "I don't need all that truck and trailer, etc. etc." Lazy or ignorance. Take your pick. He's a **** anyways. Thankfully no one else was involved.

I can't understand why they are afraid to pick up the phone and call a hauling outfit. I'd rather be doing something useful with my time than cranking on my 8th binder, worrying if someone is going to jump out in front of me, worrying if a tire is going to pop, worrying if DOT is going to stop me, or worrying if my DPF is going to shut the engine down. Leave that hassle to someone else.

Takes all kinds and most are just trying to be Cheap, no efficient but Cheap. Old guy that bought the Allis, 12 ton of tractor, at least 5 ton of parts and a spare bucket. Late 90s Chev Kodiak eight lug 19.5s, 3116 cat five speed single speed rear on juice brakes with a Class Four Receiver hitch pintle on a HOME MADE INSERT, pulling a 20t tag with electric brakes. Not bright or efficient, just determined Cheap. Only reason bought the Allis was Cheap, told NOT a Production Machine, a HOBBY FARMER Tractor, determined HAD TO HAVE. Now it sits broken in IA and he blames ME.

Cannot fix Stupid or Cheap, it tends to itself. Just sadly at times takes out innocents' in the process.

If you did that stuff over here you would be off to to the gay conversion centre. (prison)
I have seen some pictures from over there that would make some of us think twice about doing it but its not that hilly over there is it?

A bloke near here once had a Toyota Landcruiser 4wd trayback ute towing a big tandem box trailer with a standard tow bar hitch.
The ute was unladen but the trailer had a stock crate with, not one, but two big mature Santa bulls aboard.
Gravel road, went over a hump and trailer starts steering ute, snaps ball, ute rolls but no one hurt.
The stock crate slides off the trailer taking the bulls with it.
When the dust settles, the crate is upright in the middle of the road still with both bulls inside with hardly a scratch on them.

All too many are convinced here can tow a massive RV trailer with a mid size import car or a half ton pickup, not enough brakes, hp, frame or structure to control the trailer when gets in wind, storms or severe grade, all too many are reinforced as to that by unscrupulous sales persons who not only do not care what they put on the road but are not trained to know. See it time and again small pickup FOUR PEOPLE in the standard cab, towing a RV with a boat or added gear trailer behind that. Wanna be welders dreaming up some method to attach a hitch to a machine never intended for one setting on side of the road with a trailer on its side in the ditch and could have killed others by the errors. And do NOT get me started on the Truck Herders I have witnessed running at speed as tires shred on the trailer totally oblivious or as they get out of their machine at a fuel stop shove the trash BACK inside rather than discharge it to a close by trash can as that would demand extra effort, all manner of broken obvious to the passers by as to the machinery setting being fueled to get back on the road. Nephew had to go out and back a semi into his store dock as the driver could not even get it started down the ramp from the parking lot, said he felt needed a bleach shower afterwards. He has no CDL but has been taught by myself and his dad how to use mirrors.

Seen a backhoe rolled over on a hill. Guy was pulling it with a 1 ton on a bumper pull trailer. He must've got the death-wobble. Truck was on its wheels but the trailer and backhoe were on their side. I'll give the guy credit, the backhoe was still attached securely to the trailer.

Seen another where someone in a half-ton (yes, 1500 series ) jacknifed and wrecked while towing a large skid steer.

Saw another stopped on the highway. 2500 Chevy towing a 10 or 12k lb telehandler! Pretty sure those weigh in at about 30-35k lbs!

I do not think nitwit above has near enough tongue weight, seems Front tires are still touching ground. Has it a Taste Far Forward on the Trailer!!! Enough to push thru a Intersection on acceleration!!
