Screen shot i found on the internet. This is Avery's truck from Rust Valley Resto..Looks like he is stuck in the mud..Not sure if his truck is 4wd..As i have said before this truck was built out of spare/left over parts. It is registered as a 2000.

I installed the bumper with the new winch on the truck yesterday. Unfortunately where I mounted the winch controller on top of the bumper, it sticks up too high to allow the hood to open properly.
I took the bumper off again and will end up moving th20210103_113853.jpg 20210103_115401.jpg 20210103_115458.jpg e winch controller inside the engine compartment like it used to be.

There’s plenty of room for the tow hooks but the controller stuck up just a little further.
I like where you put yours, I’ll have a look tomorrow and see if I can place mine in a similar spot. I like the idea of having it up by the bumper a lot better than having it inside the engine compartment.

Yes...under the hood means you have to flip it open. There is also the loss of length in lead getting around the hood and having the hood open in the event you need the winch...Not saying my location is the best but its what I came up with at the time....

I see why your hooks clear.Your cables are shorter that mine.My hood opens a full 90 deg.Its a bit of a push to get it back down..

Ran into the guy (facebook) who saw my truck at the glass shop a few years ago in Aldergrove. He left a note saying his Uncle owns truck #6..Truck is up north and is a one family truck.I phoned him and we talked for a while..As far as I can figure this is the first truck to get the Mapleleaf Grill....Anyways got a pic of the truck at home..The only I have dug up is a factory shot..
Good looking truck.

Relatively easy fix for the winch controller.
I put a couple of 3/8" plates between the bumper and the frame of the truck. The plates gave me enough room to mount the controller right to the back of the winch like it was when it came out of the box.

I saturated a few facebook groups with Grizzly stuff a few weeks ago..I was a little overwhelmed by the responce..Got some good info tho..I was told by the owner of the blue truck above (Art)that the grey truck used to live in PG as well but it went MIA a long time ago..I guy posted that his friend owns the gray truck which is the 3rd one built and it is just parked. He says its still in PG..He was going to verify it for me but nothing has happened..

There is another truck missing that i know SFA about...I have no photos or stories..A guy says his friend owns a white one and has for a long time..It is up in the Nelson area I believe..He also said he would verify it for me..

Found another Grizzly cab as well..saddly sitting in the back of a pick up box outside...
Still chasing stories...

Figure you had it all figured out and somebody turf's the empty deck out the window... Along with the map sketched directions on it...

Here is the "said" Grizzly cab sitting in a trailer box outside.....I believe this came from the parts that the guy who owned Wills truck had...When i first went Grizzly shopping i inquired about what is now Wills truck..It came with a spare engine and 6spd.It was priced pretty high and i declined..We did talk a few times and I knew about the spare cab..I havent tried to blow the pic up and CSI it......Back window looks pretty big to be a Grizzly...

All the parts were long gone by the time Will got to the truck..
