I definatly see that truck being payed off and you buying another with out a doubt. The thing that I like is you get what you need no running to get it or cleaning and bring the cart back or haveing cold joints or just needing maybe a 1/4 of yard more and not having it. I always wanted to do something like that but ist you really have to have the set up or land for the supplies 2 you have to be doing other things not just depending on that because i think alot of it is more seasonsal then it dies off. that is what i was told but that was from the people who rent the carts so maybe negativity not to have me go do it. .

Good looking ride

Pete379,
Got an upclose look at your new rig this afternoon as I was heading out to Pt. Jeff. It was at Old Town Rd and Nesconset Hwy around 5:00pm. Was along side it heading east. 5:00pm load, kinda late, no? :) Guess with the new payment book, you can't turn much away. Anyway, sweet ride you have, best of luck with it.

That would work awesome for pouring fence posts. No more bucking bags and mixing in the bucket! Gonna need a lot of fence to build though.

Thanks 608, With the rain coming Wed AM and a busy day on Tues. one contractor wanted to squeeze out another 8.5 yards. It was a good customer, I said sure why not. He was just leaving the yard, We're about 5 min north of where you saw him.

1ton, earlier today we poured twelve 4' x 2' sonotubes for a contractor to set posts in, took about 4 yards, saved him a lot of mixing.

I used to drive Oshkosh front discharge mixers. Our water tanks ranges from 240 to 280 gallons I believe. Even then we would run out on occasion, especially on hot days or running DOT mix, really sticky stuff.

Sorry to bump an old thread, need the post to get my 3.

Here in Bermuda they use Mack Midliner MS300's with 6 yard barrels... 100 gallon water tank. As the MS300's are starting to be retired from old age now they are using the new Mack Freedom Chassis. These are the only trucks with the combination of small size and high GVW to fit our roads here. The wheelbase of these trucks is only around 150"... max 20 feet long.
