Is there any recomended hours for an engine overhaul or just bearing replacment on L70/90 A to E, the L90E having a Deutz engine? Running 4 machines all close to 20k on the clock ,I dont want to run a bearing. All machines serviced regularly from new.

Best thing to do is oil samples, contaminated oil will let you know if there are problems to address. Seems head bolts letting go when engines go over the 20,000hr mark are the biggest problem I've seen.

L90C Volvo Tranny problems

I purchased a L90C Volvo loader a week ago. The transmission seemed to shift fine when i tested the machine but i was unable to get it i 4th gear on the test run because there was not enough space to run it out. After receiving the loader i run it out on the road(i use it for snow removal). It will only do 30km/h my other L90 and L70 will do close to 50km/h. The other gears seem a little weak. Could this be a valve, screen, or spring type problem? I am taking it in to the dealer to test the pressure. They told me it would be at least $12,000 to rebuild it! Any ideas on something to try other than right to rebuild? thanks

If the price was rite id say take a chance, i have seen these engines run strong up to 30,000 plus hours!!

I agree ive maintained L120c and L70c wheel loaders up to 40,000 hrs with no major rebuilds. (Only brakes) no engine or transmission work nessesary!!!! High quality machine indeed !!!! Would highly recomeend to anyone.

I too am looking for any info on finding a rebuilt TD45B engine. The one that I have needs to be rebuilt and has a bad valve in the cylinder head. Have not pulled engine out yet. I have tried to email several companies around the world with no luck yet on a reman engine. Found complete new engine kits and used parts. Just not a complete reman long block. If anyone has any info my email = CookeAuto@outlook.com

I need an engine for a L70. I bought one that is missing the engine. Not having any luck finding one. Does anyone know where to find one? It's a TD45B engine.

I called all the dismantlers on Machinery Trader that showed to have a L70 parted out but had no luck.
Hello we have a l70c and it's engine is TD63
