That cab was used by everybody and there dog. But cab interior trim parts were always a problem with Stars, there were none on the shelf and none at the DC's. Most of those items
were special order. Quoting two Star parts countermen.

I use to drive a 78 Star that had a Holmes 750 and a Zacklift 275 WB NTA420 Cummins 13 spd with Eaton 2spds. Originally owned by Bethel Clark, Clark Towing in Issaquah just east of Seattle.

1975 Star that I drove, Cat 1693 TA 15 speed with a 14 yard pup

A lot of guys where I grew up in Iowa ran pups. I never see any pups where I live now. Here its either multi lift axle single bed dumps, or tractor trailer end dumps.

Its not hard to tell the good drivers from the bad, if you want all the material in the same pile with pup drivers.
