Hi HDX.It was bought at Ritchie Bros Chilliwack. The box has a manufacture tag Reliant Truck and Trailer and thats all I could find for data plates on the truck.I appreciate your offer to dig into it but it is not really that important.Just thought I would put it out there and see if anyone recognized the beast and knew some history.A truck like this probably has some interesting stories to tell if it could lol.The manufacturer specs not so much I am not restoring it.A general operators manual for this truck or a video link to operating it would be awesome

Picked it up for the monster box excellent for land clearing hauling stumps to a burn hole on my own property so the truck does not need to be pretty or pass any inspections.Feels a bit strange with a heaping load of stumps when dumping at a certain point the box does not need the hydraulic lift and it comes to rest on rollers on the bottom of the backside of the box.Not sure if it was designed for that but the first time dumping it was off to house to change the drawers thought I was going to do a backflip over the edge and down the hole.Need to have solid ground for the rollers to land on

Just a side note to this In 1973 working for Frank Beban Logging In Gardiner Canal we had a brand new HDX with 4640 s .I was second loading and remember riding in at the end of the day, shortly after i was promoted to dump man .All cool stuff to a young guy. I have often wondered if i remembered it right as any other HDX s i was around ran planetarys . Last i saw of that truck was helping to resurect it from a bad rollover around 1977 in the Charlottes. I wonder where it ever got to

Well it is quite a time since I posted some at HE. I guess COVID-19 is the reason why. I had booked a ticket to BC Canada in august 2020, but I had to prosponed it to 2021-then again COVID-19 stopped my trip this year so I had to prosponed it to summer 2022. So now I think 3.rd time is my lucky time. So for my planning next year I have a quistion; has anyone knowledge if there will be some kind of show / celebration of Hayes 100th Anniversary in 2022? I surely would like to go to Hayes 100th Anniversary show and as I have to rebook my ticket now, any information is appriciated - thank you.
