Questions on Bobcat joy stick controls reliability issues in past model years

I am looking at a Bobcat 2008 year T320 tracked skid steer with joy sticks.
I have been researching bobcat tracked loaders on the web and have learned the early year design of the electric controls of the joy sticks were prone to expensive problems requiring replacement of the electric control box at cost of $1400.00.
One machine that has detailed description had less then 2,000 hours on it that I learned of this problem.
Does any one know of this problem and if and when (what year) bobcat fixed the problem.

We used to have intermittent acs problems. There really never seemed to be a rhyme or reason to it. It’s just like anything computer controlled it might fail it might not. It is expensive to replace those particular components for sure. We actually send a few controllers back years ago and the consensus was through out the industry a lot of controllers where replaced with out that being the real fault. Not saying they didn’t fail because I’ve personally replaced a few. But also came behind some guys who just suspected and ordered. When that wasn’t the issue. I wouldn’t be scared of it. If it’s gonna happen it’s gonna happen. You could buy yourself any other brand and still run into that particular brands issues. Nothing seems to be cheap to fix these days

I have a 2008 S250 and my dad has a 2005 T300. Both have SJC controls. The S250 has 1300 hrs, and the T300 around 3000 hrs. The T300 has had controllers replaced on both sides and the right side is getting flaky again. My S250 is all original, but I do occasionally get ACS fault on the right side. No rhyme or reason to it that I can see, shut the machine off and start again and it goes back to normal. Sometimes it goes weeks between episodes. I wouldn't be scared to buy a Bobcat in that era again. In my opinion, it has the right amount of electronics on it, no emissions, good power, etc.
