We are looking to purchase a used wheel loader in the 2.5 to 3 yard bucket size. This will be the first wheel load for our company hence no real knowledge on cost of operation and reliability of any brand. All suggestions and comments will be appreciated. Thanks

A pertient question might be what type of material are you planning to load and how much odes it weigh per cu yd.?
For example if it was a heavy material maybe your search should be for a larger class (3.5yd?) machine with an undersize bucket on it, or of it was the reverse a smaller class (2.0yd) machine with an oversize bucket on it.

We have a WA270-7 Komatsu and absolutely love it. Really nothing about it I’d change. Had a 544H. It was a nice machine as well just not quite as nice and you couldn’t see the rake as well when running the machine. Biggest gripe on the Komatsu is the ac system is a biatch to work on and they have inadequate AC filters.
