One of these three sensors activates the switch to turn the fan on and I don’t see any numbers to identify which is which. So which one and what are the replacement part numbers, I’m tired of driving staring at temp gauge more than the road itself and flipping the switch all the time. As one can see someone put their dick beaters on the wiring and bypassed it.B6B1AC75-1E0B-48E0-BFCF-10A5DD04E0B0.jpegE901E54D-C987-4AC3-9FC7-1DBFCDC0D034.jpeg

Looks like I'm late to this game and I'm only a page deep into the thread but holy ****, 5200 bucks for that truck? Wow! Nice!

--now off to read more horror stories of it's ownership... I'd be lost within your first problem!

Shew... Through the thread now and I've got to say, again, this forum is amazing. Granted, I only understood about a third of the words throughout this entire thread, I'm learning things and seeing pictures and reading discussions about stuff I never previously knew existed. Good stuff and thanks all y'all for your knowledge and goodwill!

The gauge sender should be easy to find by grounding and watching gauge, depending on how it's wired it could also be the front sender. I think the rear is for alarm.
Look for the solenoid switch for fan hub and follow wiring. The fan hub sender should say NO normally open or NC normally closed.

Did the kit come with oring for the outlet to tank check fitting? If did may want to pull that apart and clean inspect.
I took it all apart and cleaned it hence the brake cleaner can in the picture. Only thing not new I didn't change out was the pop off valve if it went too high in pressure. New O rings, purge valve, new plug, new bolts for purge valve and new air dryer filter.

Off it goes to the scraper...
Now for another can of worms in the midst of needing to pulling a transmission and some pumpkins someone gave me two log skidders. One needs to go to the scrap yard and second one has a blown engine that comes with a good V6 Cummins as they blew up the Detroit in it, and it weighs 40k lbs . I think that would be worth a trip to haul 1200 miles.EB041658-F96D-4230-BF70-EE066423EFBD.jpeg5AB12B8A-F9AA-444D-B5C4-120D59580960.jpeg

OH! You are killing me now. Do a search to buy a hood for that truck. I know a guy that could use the step and box possibly but you are far off from me. Core on that engine should be worth a bit.

Too late, all is gone and was destroyed in picking it up and putting it on the trailer along with dropping it 4 ft in the air on to the trailer and onto the ground busting the oil pan since there wasn't a axle to stop it. Cab was destroyed with a grapple hook to the top of it after being loaded and the hood served as a bucket to hold extra parts. All is in the scrap yard now, no questions were asked on titles, no receipts, no ID check which was weird and straight cash.
Next up, log skidder...

About that skidder I’m supposed to drag back to Montana, has a 6v53 that’s blown, the guy is giving a V6 Cummins to replace it, but I might sell it for another 6v53 or do a rebuild. Anywho, don’t know the make model or weight of it, anyone want to take a gander at it?9F4FC00A-2B6C-41A6-B5CD-2FD948BE74E0.jpeg32FD5304-1E9E-4B61-957B-B02DECA97643.jpeg5713F08D-4B16-48D0-B659-4B657A23ECE3.jpegA742E2B9-A217-4328-B108-B24CD507213B.jpeg
