Hindsight says its pretty easy to see the second crane has his outriggers over the storm drain.
Certainly one that wouldn't polish out with T-Cut.............Probably left a mark...
Am suspected air displacement slowed it some blowing down the holeThe nerd in me just had to know, so I Googled it--It was approximately 3 seconds from the time the excavator began to fall, and the noise of impact. That figures out to a hole 145 feet deep, and a speed at impact of 65mph.
Probably left a mark...
What is with all these crane incidents, is there a shortage of reliable crane operators and rigging people?
