Hi everyone
Hitachi 120-3 stalling
Check that the accelerator cable that goes the injector pump is in good condition, because it runs under the exhaust it can melt , the inner cable has a find plastic coat that when melted can catch or jam it from working right if in doubt start the digger and put it by hand and tie it some way and then work the digger hope this makes sense

There are a lot of people on this thread who have inserted or were in the process of inserting a hydraulic conversion kit in their ex120-2 or ex200-2. I would like to know how people have found the results and if there are in cons to doing it
Your feedback would be greatly appreciated as I am looking at converting my ex120-2
Thanks Marcus

Hi Bc Timber
Thanks for replying to my question. How do you find tracking? Can you still use the hare mode and is your pvc still plugged in? And did you convert to a manual throttle
Thanks

I'm new to this forum. I have a ex120-2 one day it wouldn't throttle up ec motor made a grinding noise. I could pull lever over and would hold rpm, if you pushed any of the speed buttons it drop in rpm. Was no blown fuses check continuity of wires between ec motor and ec computer all good. Both computers reds lights blink, looked over all wiring. Put new ec motor and ec sensor on no difference. Unhooked throttle cable can pull by hand , spring returns cable to off position. Help Please Thank you

Welcome to HEF wifeshelper;)!

Should have started your own thread. Anyway, cable good? Did you check the voltage on the EC position sensor at low idle to make sure it is at 2.5 - 2.6 volts? (do not unplug/plug in the EC motor with the key on, it WILL ruin your Pump and Valve Controller). Check the voltage by backprobing. Did you perform a relearn procedure? There are many posts in the forum about all these procedures.

Sorru about your machine. You might want to start a new thread or go over 1 step at a time with pictures. Lots of great help here, might take some time to sort your issues.
