New Holland LS185.B Break problem

I picked up a New holland LS185.B with about 3300 hours a little while back. I test drove it at the yard and there were no problems I couldn't handle. I get it back to my yard and the breaks are on the fritz. It does have SAHR breaks for the parking break, but it only acts up when the machine gets warmed up. Sometimes I can move it again if I put the parking break on and turn it back off, it also works if I get out of the machine and leave the engine run. I checked everything I could see in the Hydraulic bay under the seat. I didn't see any break solenoids. I also don't have a loss of hydraulics as I can still move the boom. Any advice is welcome.

What are you calling SAHR brakes? A hand brake? And do any warning lights or buzzers on the EIC come on?

Its a push button parking break. I get no warnings lights or buzzers on the EIC.

Also as a side note I did find a break solenoid in the bottom of the machine. I'm currently checking that. When I got the machine it had a few inches of mud in the bottom of it. really neglected by the last guy. I gave a quick clean out to see about any leaks, pulled 15 gallons worth of mud out of it, but apparently that wasn't enough. When I cleaned it out the first time, using a pressure washer, the battery was removed. The same goes for this time.

The hydraulic pump is separate from the hydrostatic drive pumps so as long as the EIC is unlocking the lock valves on the control valve it will operate the boom and bucket. I would check voltage to the brake valve to see if it stays constant or comes and goes. It comes directly from the EIC (as I remember-for whatever that's worth). I'll get my book and double check the wiring. Post your serial number if you have it. I'll check that the safety interlock switch or isn't involved in the EIC powering up the brake solenoid. Let me ask-when the brakes lock up and you push the travel levers does it bog down or are the sticks dead?

I couldn't find a serial number but I did find the Product ID Number, N4M402832. From what I understood of the repair manual the safety interlock is tied into the EIC. As in if I remove my seatbelt or leave the seat the brakes come on and the foot peddles lock up. As for when the break comes on: The travel levers go dead, but sometimes it stutters into it. Almost like the break is trying to engage.
