We have fairly acidic soil so a ton/acre is little use, generally end up floating 2-3t/a every few years but has to be ultra fine as that spreader above is laying down otherwise just runs off in rains or snow melt. My place was done four years back, soil samples recommend 2t/a currently.

I ended up appraising a few of those "wagons" for the dealer. The dry fertilizer has a smell that kind of makes your sinuses swell up after you get done going through the machine. One place had an old home made rig that they used for organic fish fertilizer. I felt sick after doing the inspection on that one for about two days. I met the guy who drove it late on. He looked like he was at least 80. Found out he was younger than me.
The corrosion on all those rigs I thought was far worse than what I had seen on snow equipment or machines working in saltwater.

Almost made it all day on a rental E.
I ended up spitting out some gears on the rear trans. Notice that 5 of the 6 bolts are missing.
Below is the rental 10R that I ran a while back. If you zoom in on the boulder behind the machine... One of their ace dozer drivers rolled over that boulder, pushed the belly pan up and wiped out an oil cooler. Apparently CAT no longer makes said oil cooler? I don't know about that but what do you expect when you slip seat operators/ tractor drivers?

We must have made someone some money. The company I work for took delivery of this last month. They also purchased 7 E's locally and 8 E's located in Texas. At 23K each to move from Texas to So. Cal and $1.9 mil for the G.... Makes me think that the owner either has faith in the economy or more money than brains.

It was only 106* in Riverside today.
I have herd a selected few prima donnas say, " A real man don't need no A.C. bla bla bla..."
I chose to track into the flight path of a H20 truck front cannon today. Scared the crap out of the H20 truck driver until I finally convinced him that the shower I just walked into was 100% intentional. By the end of the day I had 3 full frontal rinses and a slightly cleaner machine. It's supposed to be 111* tomorrow. Should I wear my 1 or 2 piece?
