That's just typical SO and SJ cable that you can get at any electrical supplier, SO and SJ is just general purpose cable, it is not designed for constant cycling in moving applications like pivot points or a power track on an aerial lift. It will work, but it will not provide the service life that the JLG cable will provide.

@willie59 Thanks, I agree on the wire. Turns out that all spare wires were used except a glow plug light that isn’t currently connected. I can use that wire to patch it up to limp along or to sell it, but I think I want to keep it and fix it.

if you have time, can you offer any guidance on the wire and pin / socket connector part numbers I need to replace the 16/30 cable? I am only seeing issues with that one currently. I have been over the part list several times and I am totally confused.

One Exp: Page 227 of parts manual #240, there are two. One is listed as cable electrical 16/30 lower, qty. 1
The other is listed as cable electrical 16/30 qty. 45’. What is the difference? Is one bare cable and one has a connector on one end? Where does that connector #240 go because the connector to platform is listed as a different number on page 266 (item 233).

Exp 2: Page 226 of parts manual, item 238 is listed as electrical cable 16/30 for my serial number range. However the cable is listed as only 27.9’ long?

I am lost as it doesn’t make sense. I can’t tell if the wiring runs full length from the platform to the lower control box or if there is a junction/coupler somewhere.
