One of the guys dropped the 1" impact, breaking off the threaded adapter into the trigger group end. Then tried to fix it with a ez out, swelling the nipple into the threads. Its ruined.

Its a old chicago pneumatic gun, with a external trigger. Anyone have any idea what model number this could be? I haven't found pictures of any gun's with the external trigger like mine to even try to get parts. The spring for the trigger was bad inside also, with the remains of some kind of a filter in it. I think a trigger group parts kit would get it back up running again, if I could come up with a model # for the gun.

Don't know what model yours is, but if you dig theough the parts breakdowns on powertoolrepairohio.com, you might be able to match up which model it is, and order parts through them. Or just shoot an email with those pictures directly to Chicago Pneumatic through their website.

I'm not positive but I think I have one of those critters covered in dirt laying under a bench at work. I will check in the morning-If I have it, you can have it.

Looks like the fitting comes out? It's a simple screen in it and might be easier to fashion a spring/trigger fix than buy parts.

It looks to me like you could pull the fitting out and weld 1/2 of a merchant coupling on to fix it.
