Hello. I have just had my hystat pump rebuilt in my d3g . Now the tranbsmission light flicks on very quickly and randomly. Maybe Once a minute . Its that quick i only see it out the corner of my eye . But it is definetly the trans light . Would a faulty forward reverse lever cause this ? Or a blocked hydraulic suction screen .
Cheers

Hi Sam a serial number will help a great deal
Did you have the unit rebuilt by cat ,outside source or your self?
if the rebuild was due to mechanical failure was the system flushed correctly?

Mark , are you able to tell me what the transmission light actually represents and where I can find the sensor(s) that control it ? Cheers

Have you cut the filters open and checked in the pleats?
The indicator light is for electronic faults and could be from a number of sources
have you checked for fault codes?
I will list the procedure below
