Does anyone know where I can find a reasonably priced hydra vac unit for my dump? I think it uses a Cardone part no: 51-8011.

In a dream is the only place you will find one cheap. Some times they can be rebuilt truck are not cheap the hyd brake system on old trucks are there down fall.

I had the same issue, if I remember corectly the master cylinder is under the driverside seat, fed by a manual brake cylinder on the firewall. My local napa store has a book with all the stuff in it, but if i recall, none of it was cheap.

Check and see if those parts are common with school buses. Lots of old buses still in use, more parts to be found.
