What's good for cleaning up rusted wrenches and sockets. When my father retired, he started working out of the back of his truck. All those shiny snap on wrenches that sat in a nice dry tool box in a heated shop for almost 50 years were suddenly exposed to frost and dampness. He has been gone for 10 years, and I have never got around to moving everything into my own place. The 3 little wrenches he carried around in his pocket, even on Sundays, are on my dresser, along with one of his blue hankies, and one of the white ones for Sundays. Some of it is rusted really bad, mostly sockets. Anything I could soak them in?

He had a little Gray 1/4, a Snap on 5/16 and a Snap on 3/8. He and his brother started working for Ford as teens. My father started working on trucks on the 70s, but my uncle stayed with ford till he retired. He was an automatic transmission man. I had the wrenches in my pocket at the funeral, and my uncle laughed and pulled 3 little metric wrenches out of his pocket.

I dont know why but CAT spare parts are most expensive n most fast to obtain. How much does it cost a CAT 434E backhoe loader seal kit for a backet cilinder . here it is $250/ It is more easier to fit another cilinder from a different machine.

I’m still working 40 thank god

Wife is about to put me to work on home improvement. We are getting rid of a nasty prefab sunroom this week and turning where it sat into an outdoor living area with a fabric canopy, a fire pit table and 6 captains chairs plus an area for my grill. This afternoon wife and I are going to look at flooring for the house as well to
Replace the carpet.

we got the house at a really good deal out of an estate sale so it’s time to put the $$$ into it to make it what we want plus get good value out of it when it’s time to sell if we wind up doing that

Have to buy a load of lumber this week, going to add a new hunting stand where a few runs and trails cross. Simple enough layout, a small condo on stilts where can stay Dry, Warm and comfy, perhaps allow the nephews to come and set up even sleep in it to get a earlier shot for them!! Most likely have WAY Too much money and time in it but something to do!

Also have to get the lumber to set up the Wife's Entertainment area(TV and Stereo Shelving). Be a basic built in hanging off the wall for the TV, Stereo, book shelves knick-knack junk shelves/cables hide. Will also be buying steel to build a similar to the bar set up as that D/S and a new Bullet trap as neighbors are developing ALL too close these days to the property lines. Thinking a 2' long x 6" sch 40 or 80 pipe slit lengthwise, 1/4" side wall sheets with cross bracing to hang wood to set paper across, set on stilt legs up for stability and off the dirt so can hang a catch bucket under.

Last time the wife said she wanted a new home entertainment system I brought home a new waterbed. :D So now you know how long go that was. :(

As I had mentioned before, with my father's little wrenches, my siblings and I all have one of his blue and white hankies, and one of his white Sunday hankies. While I have never taken up the practice myself, I was wondering if any of you carry a snot rag around in your pockets?

She wasn't worth a Snap On?
If they made one sure, but you can’t put a price on love. It’s like saying that you love a woman more cause you were able or were stupid enough to spend $20k on wedding ring than the man who could only afford one from Wal-Mart. It’s the thought that counts...
