Could be.... the brits arange their springs based on the BSS thread... but the tricky part is they measure them when the half load is applied to the spring in compression so you need a special test/measure fixture that was only available from the New Hudson company until Lucas bought the rights back in the 40's and moved production of the test stands to Birmingham... even then you'll have a jolly time getting them to ship one across the pond!

That there is the issue... They are testing tension springs under compression. But if you stretch them first, I guess I makes sense somewhere. Probably explains the scarcity of those special test stands. o_O

Wrench, you should really consider the 8LL conversion with a gear venders over drive. Be sure to pull the 8LL down and swap 7th and 8th so that you will have 324.6 inch/hour increase in speed which gets you right above the speed of sound at your altitude so you will not be continually falling below and then reaching the sound barrier and producing those annoying sonic booms. You do not want to scare the trees up there.

The toilet paper idea will have an added boon of increasing production for some of those areas enduring the forest products plants being idled.

I thought I saw a small unicorn and ran to a machine 01BCF3DC-43C7-4263-84B2-BC7F0F5F1250.jpeg to catch it, but the key was not left in!

What's the hold up with the EM Bike? If anything should be considered essential it should be the certified clean EM bike. Could be used to deliver testing kits.

Top secret EM Bike factory anonymously offered to make PPE to supply the whole world but rescinded when told they would face retaliation if any went outside the US. It would cause significant humanitarian implications.

Here you go, Ronsii:

I said: Heck, I think I am just a pigment of someone's imagination.

Ronsii said: This definitely needs to get into the what gives thread.... :)

Somebody once said "pigment of imagination" to my mother during a serious confrontation at work. She lost it, and made the whole situation much worse with her uncontrollable giggles. Since then, it has been an element of my family's lexicon.

LOL!!!!

Yeah, glad you brought this thread up :) everything in the EMBike factory took a turn for the worse when one of the kids working on the fifthwheel plate hitch slide system started coughing a couple weeks ago :( so awl hail broke loose!!!! we had to call in doctors and nurses to start checking everybody for corona:eek: and of course we had several of the younger school kids test positive!!! so that opened a big can of worms with labor and industries, DOE, and a few other agencies wanting to know why we had 4 year olds working in a factory... well duh... it's cheaper!!!! so now the factory is pretty much at a standstill because all the people in power won't meet you in person so you can arrange a 'settlement' with them personally ;) they all want to work from home- which means they are really out enjoying themselves on vacation while telling their employer thy are working!!! Anyways this whole mess wouldn't have started if the nurses giving the test could speak proper english and understand that we wanted 'corona virus testing' and not 'corona beer testing' I mean how were we to know those kids liked beer....o_O

Now Now, child labor is not approved as safety first must have at least some manageable adult supervision so as to not jack knife the EM bike in a corner and tear up the street!! Might cross contaminate the entire county!

I hear that the e-bike shipping department lost all its shippers, due to the wuflu. They are taking a real hit, now, as they will have to rely on shipping wars contractors, to deliver their products...;)

Yeah we heard that too :( some of us were in a virtual meeting the other day discussing things like virtual distancing and the like.... and one of the tech team mentioned an EMBike drone that would be modular and hook right into the EMBike's power supply!!! first calculations would indicate a self delivery range of almost 200 miles :) and I think if we get some tweekers in there to tweek the settings and battery capacity we could improve it a good bit....

I'm scratching out some new drawings, oil has really taken a dive in value. I think its going to change everything.

I'm wondering if I could set one up with something like a round sleeve, in a cast block, then a rotating crankshaft assembly. If I could set it up right, it could have a set of valves, and a overhead rack running mechanical injectors. Then I could have a gear driven blower assembly, to scavenge out the combustion chambers. It could make power on every upstroke.

I'm thinking I could run a petroleum based fuel, that will combust under pressure.

No recharge times, two minutes to pour in some more fuel and off you could go again. You could even keep the fuel in a small tank on the bike.

I don't think anyone has ever tried something like this before, so you guys are going to have to be patient.

Wow... That's a new concept. Why didn't I think of that one?
