Central Tie inflation systems

Anyone have much experience with Central tire inflation? I have a large tree spade on a tandem axle, with T ride off road suspension, Full lockers, and aggressive tires. And struggled all last year (wet). Wondering if this is the answer? The online videos are interesting, but they all seem to be in sandy or silty soils. Wondering how they work in clay soils? And wondering what to watch out for with them? (trouble spots?) Also wondering how the DOT looks at them? Any thoughts? Thanks. 20200309_134833 (1).jpg

Beet farmers around here use them all the time. Fields are heavy black gumbo. Sounds like they work great in the soft conditions.

Quite a few of the big farming outfits around here are using them with good results, even pulling semi's through the field. The DOT seems to like them as it keeps the tires inflated and if there is a a leak you know about it right away.

Don't know about DOT as everyone else has stated, but I do know they worked well on our LMTV's in Iraq/Afghanistan and in the back whatever fields on multiple bases I have ran them on during training exercises.

The air swivels need to be watched for leaks, but the rest is pretty much trouble free if it gets clean air.

Also kind of wondering how much trouble they are? Hoses sticking out the sides? Makes me nervous in and around the trees. And seems like endless possibilities for air leaks. Lots of connections, plus not sure how long the seals last in the swivel joint at the wheels. Thanks for reply's.
