Before I develops bad habits,can I use my swing to assist in turning, let me know the correct way

Proper way to turn a 70000# excavator

I do... lift one end up by pushing down, then turn with tracks and swing. Especially on soft ground.

Nothing wrong with turning like that just do it smoothly to save on impacting the UC. Actually I think it's easier on the UC doing this than grinding one track one direction and one the other.
